The Eastern Media Mafia

When testing one of those midwest US “All Ag” stations, the newscaster was giving the cattle prices in Iowa which are in close to free fall and he was noticeably angry.  AFA foods has already declared bankruptcy – they owe money to Tyson’s Meat Products (formerly known as Iowa Beef Products – IBP).

The reason for this sudden instability is the “Eastern Media Mafia’s” campaign to spread the notion of “pink slime” for the beef byproducts used to make hamburger and other things – you may notice that Tyson sells beef things like meatloaf in the store).

So where is Mitt Romney?   Eldon Roth is the target of the left, with them trying to tie the made up concept of “pink slime” to the funding of the Romney campaign.

    From wiki:
It consists of finely ground beef scraps and connective tissue which have been mechanically removed from the fat[6][7]. The recovered material is processed, heated, and treated with ammonia gas[1] or citric acid to kill E. coli, salmonella, and other bacteria. It is finely ground, compressed into blocks and flash frozen for use as an additive to beef products.

      Wikipedia…. Bwahaha

In a sign that the people behind Wikipedia are achieving their goals, I heard yesterday that Encyclopedia Britannica is now selling its final printed version of their encyclopedia and sales are brisk. They’re being snapped up by collectors and perhaps people who want a fixed version of knowledge before the entire of human history and knowledge can be modified with a mouse click by any anonymous human.

Wow, last printed copy. My parents bought me one when I was in the fourth grade back in the 70’s.
It was a big deal, around our house, A lot of money for my parents. My brother used them too.
They are still out at my parents house in the bookcase.
And these crazy refrigerators are throw away items these days. Grrrrrrrr.
