Cumulus drops Billy Bush

http://www.billybushshow.com/

Continung on its plan to replace syndicated program from third parties and bringing it “in house” to reduce cost, Cumulus is ending its relationship with Billy Bush, who is syndicated by Westwood One (now part of Dial Global).

Billy Bush is a 40 year old who you may know from TV.  He primarily is known for his work on Access Hollywood, an entertainment show.

Billy Bush will be replaced by a new show featuring Perez Hilton.  The show will be syndicated by Cumulus Media and made available on non-Cumulus stations.

You may remember that Cumulus acquired the Midnight Trucking guys from Dial Global.  Cumulus seems intent on proving that they can prosper following their own path.
