Motivated in part by the migration of Cumulus Media’s 480 stations to a new player one at a time, I’ve added a long requested feature to the Station list:

You can now restrict the returned list to stations that only use a specific type of player – for example, you could ask for a list of Sports Talk stations that carry ESPN programming and are available using an MP3 format stream (which would work on iDevice or WiFi radio)
The classification of player type is incomplete as there hasn’t been a lot of evidence people actually understand and/or use it, but there it is.
The big down side of the change at Cumulus is they used to publish a link to the player with no prestream video ad. My “rule” is I only publish “raw” streaming links if the station publishes it on their own web site. The Triton Media player offers no such link and has a prestreaming video ad, so Cumulus stations are going to become a lot less desirable for streaming.
