Joy Browne, the feminist progressive radio psychologist has found a new home. She will be doing her show on Radio America, starting Monday.
Radio America is a curious organization – they are owned by a 401(c) charity based in the Beltway that purports to raise money to distribute materials to young people to want to join the US military and see the world.
Dr Browne was cut loose because Clear Channel bought WOR-AM in New York, which ran the WOR Radio Network that had been her syndicator.
