The right to bear drones

Airplane pilots must have perfect vision. A pilot landing his plane at JFK reported seeing a “drone” that was about 3 feet in size, black and has 4 propellers. The FAA and police have no idea what it was.

News Story

Let me help. I subscribed to this YouTube channel maybe a week ago.

Basic models are around $300. Drones for the masses have arrived. Don’t look now, but there is a quad copter hovering outside your window.

I told you not to look,

I bought one for about half that. It has a HD camera inside and a WIFI transponder so it can be controlled by an Android app. It is a kid’s toy and works really well.

There is another video of one of these that goes really fast chasing a French police car down the street. When the police noticed they were being chased in their mirrors and stopped, the pilot took his “drone” and flew it up on a rooftop and landed it out of reach.

I think we can look forward to Fox “News” covering even more high speed car chases or bypassing police lines. I wonder if anyone makes one with electric motors but with a chevy volt like small power generator so it can last more than 10 minutes.

Mine lasts about 10 minutes. It is really fun. Interesting to fly over the roof of your house and watch the video looking down from your phone or tablet as you fly the thing.

I am hoping that Nancy Pelosi’s OPM (Other People’s Money) investment in battery technology will pay off. My goal is to get it one of those OPM batteries and retrofit it with a spotlight and a loudspeaker. When the French guys notice, I will turn on the light and the loudspeaker will say in French through the toy’s Google Glass interface, “Get out and put your hands on your head”. 🙂

Sen. Rand Paul is holding a filibuster in the senate chamber right now at 9:38pm and it started at 11:47 am this morning Wednesday March 6
He is questioning the whole drone authority thing. Go Rand Go !
Jon McCain, Lindsy Grahamm ham hamm are over that some dinner with pseudo president ‘O’ . (losers)
I was watching senator John Barraasso from wyoming read a letter from someone, and he read it twice – then three times . LOL
Now back to you senator Paul. No killings in the U.S. by a drone but they might. You can’t trust the administration, justice department or TSA or Mr Janet Nepolitano !

Mr Rand Paul goes to washington Moment. Heck even senator Rubio made a cameo at dinner time.
Its good, Go to C-span and they are streaming it.

I second the vote for Rand Paul. About time someone in D.C. sprouted a few vertebrae!

I spent the summer of 1971 working in the Tally Ho restaurant. My sister worked there every summer. Once was enough for me.

My understanding is these days, the Ampitheater is set up now as basically a closed venue. It used to be if you lived on the grounds or bought a pass, you just took a seat when it was time for the show. If the place was full, you stood outside and listened. Now the people attending drive/fly in for concerts and have no real idea where they are or why. You buy a ticket for the show, then leave.

It’s only going to be a matter of time before the terrorists or some wacko loads one of these things up with weapons or explosives and something goes boom.
