It would be really nice if someone kicked Mayor Bloomberg and his megalomaniacal instincts out of office as Mayor of New York, as his tyrannical edicts extend beyond the boundary of his kingdom – transfats, sugary drinks, gun control, light bulbs, smoking…

Christine Quinn has announced that she wants the job. She is currently the President of the New York City Council.

She starts by telling us her father was a shop steward in a union and her mom worked for Catholic Social Services, a recipient of a ton of government social welfare handouts. Her mom had great health insurance from the union, but still died of cancer.

She mentions in passing that she is a lesbian and has a “partner”. Her “job” is she was a community organizer in New York City’s anti-landlord housing fairness movement – including rent control that stopped new private housing construction in its tracks, leading to a housing shortage and ultimately higher prices, while people held onto rent stabilized housing they didn’t live in.

As long as the American public doesn’t mind higher and higher energy and food prices, the Fed will print money and hand it to the “to big to fail” banks that control the Fed’s board and NYC can afford to do this without worry about becoming the next Detroit.

Don’t forget things such as: naming alcoholism a disease, insto-presto money for handouts, gov’t rehab and so on. It’s a spiritual / behavioral problem. I know. But this brings up another facet – the electric koot-skooters that are advertised. Some congressman or senator pushed Medicare into paying for all of those. The definition of disability is as meaningless as ‘rasist’ only more expensive. Yahoo news had a note that the voter to taxpayer ratio is now 3:1. The battle is lost without harsh, swift change.

I am wondering why we even try anymore. The battle seems to already be lost.

As I’ve stated here and elsewhere, the only way all this will change is IF the real producers stop producing and go ‘on-the-dole’. In other words a deliberate system ‘crash’ a true meltdown of the whole system. Sure, anarchy will breakout when the food stamps stop going out and it will be tough on everyone who gets a paycheck from the government, but the consequences that will occur if the mentally ill leadership get their way would be far, far worse.

This “candidate”, like Bloomie, is as unacceptable, non-mainstream, off the planet and downright fails the “sniff” test. Who is left to stand up and declare it so? It would be a “hate crime” I fear – 20 years in prison for pointing out what a lousy choice this person is.
