Caribou fleeing Chicago

It was warm enough today to walk outside anexplore my neighborhood. It’s right next to O’Hare airport, a few blocks to the subway and expressway – an ideal location for commercial office space. There was a noticable lack of activity. Parking lots are at least half empty in a place where parking is a scarce commodity and Towing cars is big business ($400 is the typical towing fee for parking in a lot you shouldn’t have used). One building I walked by is offering 100,000+ square feet for rent

    Caribou are instinctive survivalists. Evidently the onslaught of chimpanzees roaming in packs and attacking the weak of the herd has caused an epic migration to whiter pastures.
