Due mostly to the explosion of HD 2/3/4 Channels feeding FM Translators (“metro” stations) and close to 1000 new Low Power FM stations, the number of streaming stations is approaching 12,000. Building the list would not have been possible without your support.
The irony is that the more stations that stream (it’s up to 75% for FM stations), the less value the directory has.
I’m thinking a way to make the directory more useful to find that one station (like the wonderful KCAA-FM that carried live coverage of the events in San Bernadino yesterday) is to create a sort or perhaps a filter for “hours of live, local programming per weekday”.

Sounds like a reasonable idea. I look occasionally for local stations so I can catch up on the local news at that location. A similar thought and might be covered by your scheme.
