Today, Donald Trump puts it all on the line

Donald Trump, with Rudy Giuliani and Jeff Sessions at his side, is meeting with the President of Mexico today, and returns to Phoenix tonight to give his speech on immigration.

Over the weekend, President Nieto invited both Trump and Hillary to visit. Trump agreed yesterday to go today without wanting time to plan the typical security. Is this a death wish? It certainly puts Mexico on the spot.

Hillary’s response was to have her Muslim minder Huma compile a list of all of Trump’s tweets about Mexico. Following up on her failure to visit Louisiana, Trump clearly is running like a brave leader. Hillary is hoping to play defense hiding from the public and running out the clock. That won’t work.

Trump is going right to the core constituents of the Democratic Party – appealing directly to blacks and Latinos, bypassing the NAACP and LaRaza, and accurately describing the Democratic Party as the party of slavery and home of the KKK. It’s about time.

Tracking polls are picking up that this approach is working. Republicans that have spent decades avoiding confrontation with Democrats need to pay attention. People want change. Trump offers hope for change.

So Trump made it back to Phoenix. Other than saying he wasn’t going to pay for the wall, Nieto was compliant with Trump’s agenda, rolling over on his back and letting Trump scratch his belly. First rule of negotiating – if you don’t ask, you don’t get.

Reading over his bio, Nieto is a lot like Jeb Bush – born into a family that believes it has an inherent right to be in charge. His family is part of the inbred European ruling class of the PRI that has ruled Mexico for most of the period since the Mexican Revolution. The PRI were temporarily ousted in 2000, but the opposition lacked the votes to make change. Nieto is a lawyer and has never had any other job or goal other than ruling Mexico. Nieto is unpopular and today’s meeting will only add to his problems. He is open to renegotiating NAFTA, agrees the US has a right to build a border fence.

So far, it looks like a home run for Trump. There were no riots in Mexico City. People in Mexico know they have a lot to lose if the United States starts to play hardball. Trump projects strength, Hillary projects being an unpredictable bully without principles.

I was impressed with Trump, however, he needs to stay on script and avoid the third grade level ad-libs. As I have said before…I will pinch my nose and vote for Trump in Nov.

Hillary scares me. I will move to Titan if she wins.

I’ve heard Uranus has better scenery than Titan.

270 days and counting is what Chris Plante said today, so Hilliary's plan is fully engaged. She loves that PSA about 'I am having a stroke' .

I think Chris said Tim Kaine was pregnant too, LOL He cracks some funny stuff.
Kaine has really embraced the clinton lying, just like old shoe.

I was impressed with both of Trump’s speeches yesterday. Now if he can keep the filter on his mouth for the next 60 plus days, he just might win this.
