Stu’s Excellent Analogy

Glenn Beck’s Stu had a brilliant insight this morning [no sarcasm].

While discussing why people would vote for a dog eating Communist for President, Stu made the observation that most of America knows about as much about politics and the role of government as Glenn knows about Sports.

Most people only know a couple things and even that they only know superficially.   Their main interest is they just want to be on the winning team and have someone to root for.

The day that Qaddafi was murdered by his own people in Libya, 30% of America suddenly decided it was a good thing that the U.S. was involved and would say that they supported the war all along.    That’s the 30% who will decide if a dog eating Communist is elected in 2012.

  1. And those are the people we are hoping will show up to vote on Nov. 7, 2012.

Unless they think the winning team is the one that doesn’t eat dogs. Then it’s OK if they show up the day before.

The current president thinks he is the Intelligentsia because he eats dog, snails, inflamed goose liver(cruel) and drinks coffee made from Civit Cat Crap.
Yeah, That looks like a ‘Looser ‘ to me.
God, please help this country, we are in so much debt and our President is morally bankrupt.

I hate to say this, but our country has already passed the point of no return. I you want to survive the oncoming onslaught either become a Muslim or learn Chinese. Our debt is insurmountable, our liberties have diminished considerably, our government is corrupt beyond imagination and full of enemy agents looking to dismantle our system. I am 72 years old and will never see the final curtain, but the country I love has been infiltrated by a virus for which there is no cure. Even an armed revolution will not cure it. Look at the French Revolution.

When I was a kid I volunteered for the Re-Elect Ed King for Gov. campaign in Massachusetts (Boston University). I was stunned that he would concede defeat at 10:00 PM with very few of the precincts reporting.

I still had mush in my skull.

I was reminded of that night when I read your post. This time I’m not stunned. I told my company manager, I’m in the final 1/3 of my life – you are in the first 1/3….. good luck. I have and continue to make provisions for more strenuous times and gave him keys. I don’t have any of Glenn’s Gold stashed away. I prefer the idea of at least ‘one of every caliber’. Lead: the new precious metal.

I hate to even think about Hussein Obama even coming close to another 4 years, And the molotov party of Clinton, Reed. and Pelosi even being in close proxmity of Washington at any time.

In all seriousness, I have no problem with Barack Obama eating dog as a child. I don’t think I would even have an issue with him eating it today. How we decide which animals are and aren’t appropriate to eat is pretty arbitrary. As near as I can figure it, the “rule” is we don’t eat animals we think are “smart”. I have no problem with people eating horse meat as long as they don’t think they’re eating beef.

Back during the 1980s I think, WBT in Charlotte created quite the controversy. They looked into what happens to the corpses of dogs that are killed in animal shelters. I doubt this is unique to them – the bodies are sent to a rendering plant and turned into sterlized protein pellets that were fed to chickens in North Wilksboro for a well known company that no longer exists.

And that is why it ALL tastes like chicken.

  7. Ed Gein says:

Most people you meet, anytime, anywhere, of any age, race or religion, should not vote. Now and then I take a break from talk for periods as long as months because I just have had my fill of anger and frustration. At those times I switch to music stations, which is what most people listen to every day. If I got all my news from the typical “top of the hour” blips on music radio, and maybe thirty minutes at night on the crap channels, I too would be too ignorant to vote. This is OUR electorate. Mainly ignorant, thoughtless rabble who ought to stay home on voting days. And they vote left and right.

Hey Art: Did beck loose his affiliate station in NYC and Dallas and Birmingham, AL ?
I heard that on the Voice of Galt last night. He said Becks ratings have nose dived.
    true or not ?

Beck lost his New York City affiliate (WOR-AM) probably close to a year ago. They were getting really uncomfortable with his programs – I think it was about the time he was going to Israel to see if he could cause the final war to start.

His affiliates come and go – the others are probably related to Cumulus dropping most of their non-Cumulus syndicated shows.

I’m convinced at this point that Beck and Disney are in open warfare with each other – you may remember the cartoon that showed up on Youtube which somehow was using all that cartoon footage without a peep of copyright infringement – from the same company that sues people for making birthday cakes in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head. Glenn Beck is not heard on any ABC radio stations – the logical place for his show to appear in the major markets where Clear Channel doesn’t have a viable AM signal – WLS in Chicago, WABC in New York…

I have no idea of what Beck’s ratings are in radio out in the non-streaming world. It’s clear the focus of his life at this point is GBTV and what he is being paid by Premiere for doing radio is secondary. My impression is his contract is up for renewal next year, but that’s off the top of my head. With Bob Pittman running things, I doubt he’s gonna have an attractive offer when negotiations start.
