It’s Christmas in October!
If you don’t know, Tom Taylor was the force behind Radio-Info.com for about the last 5 years. He had previously done a similar web site and newsletter that was acquired by Clear Channel.
Maybe two months ago, on a Friday the email arrived that it was over and the thing had been sold to Talkers Magazine and the owners had decided to retire. The suddenness suggests it was not an amicable parting of ways.
Tom knows everybody who is anybody in radio. While producing an industry newsletter requires not alienating the industry, he is not a person without opinions – he just isn’t as caustic as his former associate Jerry del Colliano
