Chris Kyle

Glenn Beck mentioned Jesse Ventura had filed a lawsuit against Chris Kyle, the SEAL sniper who was shot in the Texas gun range. Ron Paul said over the weekend that Kyle deserved it more or less. That’s entirely consistent with Ron Paul’s libertarian beliefs that US National Interest ends at the US border and we have no reason to be involved in Iraq or Afghanistan – and a massive cut should be made to the military budget and stop these projections of American force by invading countries and killing people, then calling the people who live there trying to oppose us as “terrorists”. I’m not saying if I’m agreeing with that – just that his rather insensitive statement is not a sudden change of position

It took a while for Glenn Beck’s research staff to realize that Ron Paul is a guest on Alex Jones and a 9/11 truther. I think Beck finally figured it out.

Beck made it sound like Ventura had filed the suit after the murder – it was started last year. Glenn’s notion that since Kyle donated the proceeds of his book to charity means that Ventura shouldn’t have sued is specious. “I didn’t make money from doing” is not a defense against libel/slander – what matters is if the statements were untrue and the amount of damage it caused.

I wonder if Ventura has been booked yet on Howard Stern and Bubba the Love Sponge.

    Just more crazy, insane stuff.

Still, Mr. Kyle had a family and simply did what we, as a nation, asked of him. There was NO cause to claim he got what he deserved. Paul is an insensitive scumbag and Ventura is a lying weasel.
Blame the Government-NOT the men who carried out their orders.

I have not checked the accuracy of what RP actually said, but some reporter claimed he said, “Live by the sword. Die by the sword.” If true, I am not going to condemn RP for that remark, because it’s actually an astute observation. I never wanted to see Mr. Kyle and his friend murdered. It is a huge crime.

As for Ventura? I think he actually does some good stuff, don’t agree 100% with him, but he has focused on some evil stuff going on these days. For example: there are 72 Fusion Centers in America that spy on everyone AND the keep the records. Ventura met the director of one of the FC, outside the building because the doors are kept locked…no public admittance…anyway, Ventura asked the director some very tough questions. Long story short, the director admitted their job is to ‘spy’ on Americans and keep records. I know there are scoffers out there, but the Police State has descended upon America. I hope Ventura keeps scouting out the bad guys and reporting on what he finds.

Ventura had an on-air confrontation with Jim Norton on the O&A show a few years back and walked off the show. They talked to Kyle on the phone when they heard he and Ventura had a fight in a bar, and later had him in the studio. He was a good guest and they got along well. They also had Andrew Breitbart in the studio (where he broke the Andrew Weiner nude pictures) and were friendly with him not long before his death. If Alex Jones is looking for a conspiracy, he should talk to O&A again.

By the way, I can’t listen to Beck anymore. I just can’t do it. I was a big fan years ago, but he’s completely gone off the map.
