Well, the nursing home patients on Long Island won’t like this.
Rush and Hannity are coming (no surprise), Mark Simone stays 10AM to Noon, Andy Dean follows Hannity, and Dave Ramsey leads into Coast to Coast.
The thing nobody possibly could have guessed is the John Gambling replacement – it will be Elliot Segal, a Rock and Roll DJ who worked in New York in the past. He is currently doing a morning show in Washington DC and Richmond. WOR will become the third station on the simulcast.
Elliot is in his 40s and hails from Canada, eh?
Rita Cosby is history and Joan Hamburg moves to weekends.
Interesting. I often wondered what had happened to Rita Crosby. She is the one who was on FOX News I think. I never heard her radio show which makes me wonder whether she left FOX voluntarily or she was asked to move along. Now her radio show is kaput – too bad if it’s her.
When she joined WOR, she was replacing Steve Malzberg on the “network”. The WOR Radio Network was pretty pathetic – they did syndicate Joy Browne, but WOR itself didn’t carry the show live on the “flagship”. There were probably only a dozen stations carrying anything else from the “network”. When Clear Channel took over, they didn’t roll the WOR shows into Premiere and just let WOR’s syndication die quietly.
Same Rita. I think she was on back when Matt Drudge had a show on Fox News.
