I remember him as host of several TV game shows in my youth. He also had a radio career at KFI-AM in Los Angeles and several other stations.
Tom Taylor recalls in his newsletter that Tom Leykis was responsible for him leaving KFI – Tom was setting up a station event where a steam roller was going to run over records of Cat Stevens after he converted to Islam, changed his name, and supported the fatwa to kill Salman Rushdie. Geoff insisted that Leykis was a fascist – the time slot was ultimately filled by Rush Limbaugh
