Posted on October 15, 2012 by Fred Stiening

I just discovered that KYNO and KFIG switched call signs a week ago. Normally that would not be worth writing about, but I suspect this is going to be a trend – not a good one for news talk. KFIG … Continue reading →

Posted on October 14, 2012 by Fred Stiening

Buried down in another thread is the information that Rusty Humphries is moving to the old Jerry Doyle time slot, competing with Sean Hannity’s Perpetual Election Coverage show. I just finished an unexpected 13 hour shift at my new job, … Continue reading →

Why is Dr Bill Wattenburg’s phone not ringing?

Posted on October 11, 2012 by Fred Stiening

Stunning how fast the implosion has been. The reason Dr Bill’s 800 number (that does not start with 800) stopped ringing is he doesn’t have a single station left carrying the former Jerry Doyle time slot (3-6 PM ET) live. … Continue reading →

Woah – Jay Severin has a new home!

Posted on October 5, 2012 by Fred Stiening

I fired up the 24 hour Free Glenn Beck feed and it wasn’t Glenn but a vaguely familiar voice. Lo and behold, Boston’s Jay Severin has a new home on the newly launched The Blaze Radio Network. Move over TRN.

Posted on October 4, 2012 by Fred Stiening

Not the debate – which hosts or networks benefitted from the sudden exodus of Michael Savage. The surprise winner is Salem Radio. A number of stations not owned by Salem have picked up Dennis Prager, Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt. … Continue reading →

Posted on October 1, 2012 by Fred Stiening

Michael Savage has been granted his freedom by TRN – so he isn’t being held him prisoner forced to talk to you. Jerry Doyle has agreed to move to Savage’s old time slot from 6-9PM Eastern. TRN has not yet … Continue reading →
